There is no Munra account and no Munra server. Your entries are encrypted on your device, and the only copies that leave it are the backups you ask for.

What you write is encrypted at rest
Entry text, mood, tags and location are AES encrypted in the database on your phone. Photos and voice notes sit behind iOS file protection instead, and are encrypted inside every backup.
Backups go where you send them
A passphrase protected file, to a folder you pick or to your own iCloud. We never hold it, and without your passphrase nobody reads it.
Nothing is measured
No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising IDs. The AI features are off until you turn them on, and they use an API key you supply.
